Get to know Tommy!

If you could choose one super power - what would it be?
I think I've always thought you'd get the most out of some Time Manipulation super power, and it is a classic choice, but the more I think about it, the more it comes with some disclaimers.
For instance If you actually stopped time, nothing would work, you wouldn´t be able to breathe, drive a car or vibrate the strings of a guitar as you practice it endlessly with the world stopped around you. Popular culture also just as often seem to portray it as leading to more problems than solutions.
If it all got too complex, I think I'd just go with being able to fly really fast instead -  bye bye commute!

What is your favorite game and why?
Obviously there are a lot, but the one I seem to always return to is Thief... The first two games in the series.
Me and my friends got a demo for the first game, Thief - The Dark Project, on a CD with a PC Player magazine, back in 1998, and we played that reduced version of Lord Baffords manor, till we could have completed it blindfolded.
Obviously we all got and played the game, and especially the sequel, Thief 2 - The Metal Age, had me completely hooked with its amazing atmosphere, tight stealth gameplay, and megalomaniac story arc.
I've returned to the game several times over the years, and also played a lot of the absolutely astonishing fan-made missions still coming out on a regular basis.

What was the last book you read?
I actually don't read as much as I'd like to (who really does?), but not that long before the Covid-19 outbreak I happened to read The Scarlet Plague, a 1910 novel by Jack London, about a society and world in disintegration due to a worldwide plague, and a mans in vain attempts at saving his recollections of the past.
I've always enjoyed a good post apocalyptic story, and was on this personal quest to explore some of the original materials influencing the stories of that genre today.
