Are you our new Game Programmer?

Are you an aspiring Game Programmer with a passion for creating user-friendly digital experiences that engage and entertain users around the globe? Well, then you might just be the next member of Funday, as we’re on the lookout for a Game Programmer who loves (to make) games just as much as we do.

Who you are:

Preferably, you have some experience with game development - but for us it’s not that important whether your experience comes from another game studio, your education or a cool home-made game. Most importantly is that you are acquainted with the processes of game development and have hands on experience with C#, TypeScript, JavaScript or other similar languages.

We are in the fortunate position that we can - to some extent at least - shape and tweak the new Game Programmer position depending on the field of applicants and the final match. This means that whether you are newly graduated or have some years of experience, we can fit the working tasks and areas of responsibility accordingly. Therefore, we would love to hear from you no matter your level of experience.

What you will be working on:

Things are moving fast in Funday and we’re on the lookout for a Game Programmer who wants to be a big part of our game development processes. As a programmer at Funday, you’ll be working with tasks such as developing code for our new games, tweaking and maintaining code for our already existing games & collaborating with team members of other disciplines to make needed adjustments to the production pipeline and the game experience. Professionally, you get bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with Unity, PlayCanvas or other game engines
  • Experience in developing for mobile platforms
  • Experience in developing multiplayer games and good knowledge of the associated challenges
  • Nurture the fun environment in Funday
  • Understanding of shaders and graphics programming
  • Good understanding of math related to game programming (vectors, geometry ect.)

On a more personal level, you:

  • Are a teamplayer and truly believe that two minds are better than one - and that teams can move mountains
  • Communicate easily with all types of people and professions
  • Have the drive to collaborate, innovate and learn
  • Are flexible and like to work on various types of projects and with various people
  • Work systematically and structured while maintaining an agile process
  • Have an impeccable attention to detail and when you stumble on challenges, you quickly find creative solutions
  • Would love to nurture the fun environment in Funday

What we offer:

We offer you a full time job with lots of opportunities for taking on responsibility and challenges in a company where creativity and having fun are driving forces. Besides covering simple needs like great lunch, fruit, snacks and loads of coffee, we offer a fun and creative work environment with the most awesome people.
